My multiplication results for term 2

Hello This week we had to re-do the multiplication test that we did at the start of the year to see what improvement we had made. Last time I got a score of 24/30 and I knew my 1x,2x,5x,10x,3x,11x and 12x tables. This time my score was 25/30 and I know my 1x,2x.,5x,10x,3x,4x,7x and 11x tables. I need to review my 12x tables and learn my 6x,8x and 9x tables.

My basic facts for term 2

Hello This week we had to re-do the basic facts test that we did at the start of the year to see what improvement we had made. Last time I got a score of 37/60 at stage 5 level 2 . This time my score was. 29/60 at stage 6 level 3. I'am doing very good because I have gone up a level and I'am working at the right level for National Standards at the end of the year. I need to keep working on groupings within 1000 and my multiplication and division facts.

My description writing.

Hello: This week we have been learning about using your senses to write good descriptions. We had to write a description about an animal. Here is my paragraph plan. I chose to write about a seal.

I think that the seal is special because it glides through the water like a knife cutting through an oozy chocolate cake.

Time test 2016

 This week we have been learning about time. Before we were put into groups we did a test on maths buddy about time. Here are my results.

This week Miss Dixon read out sentence to us and we had to create an image in our heads then draw it on to google Draw. When we where finished we'd shared it with a buddy, then our buddy had to write sentences. Miss D 's sentences. It was time to take our pedigree for a walk.

When we got to the park a scruffy dog came along.

The day was hot. The park was empty. It was quiet.

So I took the opportunity and the view from the top was incredible.  Here  is mine

Zoofari 2016

This week we all went down to Auckland for the zoofari at the Auckland Zoo. When we were told that  we where staying in The Old Elephant House where the elephants used to live  we were excited. We walked around the zoo and saw the kiwi, little blue penguins, gazelles, zebras, rhinos, monkeys, lizards, cheetahs, flamingoes, seals and a massive old tortoise who was about 100 years old.
