Mountain presentation

We worked in groups to make our mountain presentations. It was hard choosing colours, sizes and images that worked together. I am proud that I found out some facts about Te Ahu Ahu.

This is my record of achievement as we go through the year. I want you to notice what I can do and what I can not do yet.

My multiplication

We had a multiplication test recently. I know my 0x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, llx and 12x times tables. I need to learn my 4x tables. To learn my 4x tables I have to be able to skip count in 4s from 4 to  forwards and backwards. Like this: 4,8,12,

16,20,24

And this: 24,20,16,12,8,4,

I am going to practise every day in the holidays. By the beginning of term 2, I will be able to speak the skip counting to my teacher, forwards and backwards.

Mrs B's reading gourp

I've really enjoyed learning inference during reading with Mrs B because she taught us the  'It says, I say, and so therefore my inference is....' strategy. It helped me focus only on relevant ideas.
