Autumn

Autumn
Autumn is the time of the year that the trees lose their leaves.
Leaves flutter down like snow flakes falling from the sky.
The trees have lost their leaves and become naked for the winter.
The leaves make a blanket of colour on the ground like a patchwork quilt.
The wind howls like a wolf wanting a bone.
Dew falls and touches the ground and makes it sparkly like glitter.
Autumn blows its crunchy leaves everywhere.
The last of the sun rays warm us up until winter.IMG_0001 (3).JPG

  1. Hi Braeden. I really like the way you have described the feeling of Autumn. I could really understand it when you talked about the wind howling like a wolf. Can you tell me what prompted you to write this piece of work?
