Autumn

Autumn
Autumn is the time of the year that the trees lose their leaves.
Leaves flutter down like snow flakes falling from the sky.
The trees have lost their leaves and become naked for the winter.
The leaves make a blanket of colour on the ground like a patchwork quilt.
The wind howls like a wolf wanting a bone.
Dew falls and touches the ground and makes it sparkly like glitter.
Autumn blows its crunchy leaves everywhere.
The last of the sun rays warm us up until winter.IMG_0001 (3).JPG

Narrative

HUNTED

Once upon a time in a jungle full of palms and bushes there lived a jungle boy with blue eyes and brown skin. He was very hungry. One night he popped out from behind a tree and could smell something good. He followed the smell over wooden boxes of all shapes and sizes until he saw a cooked chicken. He ran up to get it but he fell into a hole. He had been trapped in the hole by a hunter. The hunter used a camera flash and blinded the boy. When he woke up he was chained up, upside down. The hunter showed the boy the chicken wishbone and said “this could be your lucky day.” They pulled the wishbone and the boy won. He used the bone to undo the lock and started to run. The hunter chased him and started to catch up. The jungle boy ran as fast as he could until he reached a hole. The hunter grabbed him. Suddenly the boy saw the camera and flash and blinded him. 15 seconds later the hunter woke up and started to chase him like a gorilla. The jungle boy raced through an animal cage and the hunter followed him and got knocked out by the bars. When he woke up he was trapped in the cage, hanging on bamboo sticks. He looked down and there were a whole lot of jungle people dancing and singing around him.

My first narrative.

Holiday Island
Honk! The ship arrived at the dock of holiday island and a whole lot of holiday makers  walked onto the island. They were wearing cane hats, hibiki coloured shirts and shorts. The island was covered in green coconut palms and knotted vines. On the other side of the island was a crystal clear lake and on the east side of the island was three hills but something strange was at the top. They were flashes coming from all the holidaymakers cameras. Flash Flash! Next they looked into the water to see beautiful coral reefs full of crabs, starfish, seahorses, fish of all shapes and sizes(clown fish, parrot fish and sharks) and eels.

The old hotel was broken down so they built huts in the trees using ferns for the roof, old planks for the floor, sticks for the walls and mud to hold it all together. For beds they found big leaves from the palms for blankets and feathers for mattresses. Once they finished making the hut they spread out to look for food. They found coconuts, fish that they caught and wild lettuce. After dinner they all climbed into bed and drifted off to sleep.
Suddenly everyone woke to the sound of a big, hairy, wild pig trying to get them. “What are we going to do?” yelled one of the holidaymakers. “I will save you,” said a boy. He jumped down and tamed the beast. They became friends and lived on the island happily ever after.
